Abstract: 본 발명은 냉난방 장치 가동시 발생할 수 있는 압축기의 액압축을 방지시키기 위한 새로운 방식의 액냉매 처리방법에 관한 것이다. 종래 냉동사이클의 어큐물레이터는 많은 액냉매가 고여 있거나 한꺼번에 다량의 액냉매가 어큐물레이터에 유입되면 압축기 기동시 액냉매가 압축기로 유입되어 압축기가 파손되는 문제점이 있다. 본 발명은 어큐물레이터가 정상적으로 작동할 수 있는 액냉매보다 더 많은 액냉매가 유입되어 압축기로 액냉매가 유입될 상황이 전개될 경우 레벨 센서가 이를 감지해 어큐물레이터에 설치된 밸브를 개방하여 초과분의 액냉매를 펌프로 보내면 펌프는 액냉매를 압축해 고압 분사노즐로 보낸다. 고압분사노즐은 액냉매를 미립화하여 어큐물레이터 내부 상부에 있는 전열판으로 분사한다. 분사된 미립화 냉매는 전열판과의 열교환을 통해 완전 기화되고 따라서 압축기로 액냉매가 유입되는 것을 사전에 방지하여 액압축이 일어나지 않도록 한 것이다.

Abstract: An apparatus for preventing accumulation and inflow of liquid coolant in an air conditioner is provided to hinder liquid coolant from flowing in a compressor by evaporating corpuscular liquid coolant with a heater and a heated plate. An apparatus for preventing accumulation and inflow of liquid coolant in an air conditioner comprises a compressor compressing the coolant; an accumulator(240) separating liquid coolant before the coolant flows in the compressor; a level sensor(280) installed in the accumulator to sense the water level of the liquid coolant; a valve(250) opened by the signal of the level sensor; a pump(260) changing the liquid coolant flowed by the valve into the high pressure; a spray nozzle(270) atomizing the high pressure liquid coolant passed the pump(260); and a heater(300) and a heated plate(290) evaporating the corpuscular liquid coolant sprayed by the spray nozzle.
