Abstract: 전기분무 이온화(electrospray ionization) 장치는, 주입구, 상기 주입구에 연결되는 제1 채널, 상기 제1 채널에 연결되는 제2 채널 및 상기 제2 채널에 연결되는 유출구를 포함하는 플랫폼; 상기 제1 채널 내에 위치하며, 상기 주입구를 통해 상기 제1 채널 내에 분사되는 시료에 비활성 기체를 분사하는 기체 연무기; 및 상기 제2 채널 내에 위치하며, 분사된 시료로부터 생성된 이온들을 상기 유출구 방향으로 집속하는 집속 렌즈를 포함할 수 있다. 전기분무 이온화 방법은, 상기 전기분무 이온화 장치를 이용하여 수행되며, 상기 주입구를 통하여 상기 제1 채널 내에 액체 시료를 분사하는 단계; 분사된 시료에 상기 기체 연무기를 이용하여 비활성 기체를 분사하는 단계; 및 시료로부터 생성된 이온들을 상기 집속 렌즈를 이용하여 상기 유출구 방향으로 집속시키는 단계를 포함할 수 있다.

Abstract: PURPOSE: An electrospray ionization apparatus and an electrospray ionization method using the same are provided to minimizing the diffusion of ions occurred through an electrospray ionization process. CONSTITUTION: An electrospray ionization apparatus comprises a platform(10), a nebulizer(20), and a focusing lens(30). The platform comprises an inlet(110), first and second channels, and an outlet(123). The first channel is connected to the inlet. The second channel is connected to the first channel. The outlet is connected to the second channel. The nebulizer is located at the inside the first channel and nebulizes inert gas to samples sprayed on the first channel. The condensing lens is located at the inside the second channel and focus ions generated from the sprayed samples toward the outlet.
