Abstract: A system for capturing an image of an electronic coupon provided through DMB(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) and a method therefor are provided to allow a general viewer to view the received image of the electronic coupon through a communication terminal, capture the image of the electronic coupon by using the communication terminal when the viewed electronic coupon is a desired coupon, provide the electronic coupon to an electronic coupon provider, and receive a certain money discount and a service. A transmitting device(11) of a DMB broadcasting company(10) converts data like an electronic coupon, and transmits a digital broadcasting signal. A coupon device(21) of an electronic coupon provider(20) issues electronic coupons to provide a discount boon and a service to optimize an operating profit by marketing. A communication terminal(30a) of a general viewer(30) captures and stores transmitted data of the electronic coupon.
