Abstract: PURPOSE: An apparatus for generating a Braille electronic book based on an electronic book standard, a method for the same, and a recording medium for the same are provided to allow people who are visually impaired to easily read the electronic book by automatically converting the electronic book into Braille codes in a Braille display device. CONSTITUTION: A parameter code conversion module(110) extracts text elements from an electronic book based on an electronic book standard. The parameter code conversion module converts the extracted text elements into pre-set parameter code texts. A Braille code conversion module(130) converts the converted parameter code texts into Braille codes. The parameter code texts include Unicode texts. The electronic book standard includes an electronic publication regulation.
