Abstract: A linear motor and an actuator having the same are provided to improve reliability of operations by preventing a tilting effect. A linear motor includes a housing(10), at least one piezoelectric member(20) having a shape of plate, an elastic member(30) having the shape of plate, a power connection member, and a moving shaft(50). The housing is formed to support at least one surface of the piezoelectric member around in a vertical direction of the piezoelectric member. The piezoelectric member is supported by the housing. The elastic member is attached to at least one surface of the piezoelectric element. The power connection member connects the piezoelectric element with a power source. The moving shaft is attached to the piezoelectric element or the elastic member. The moving shaft is extended to the vertical direction of the piezoelectric element.
