A transparent insulation material having an aerogel is provided to improve durability and to improve crack resistance caused by variation of temperature and humidity by filling the aerogel between two plates. A transparent insulation material comprises two plates(10,11), an aerogel(30), and at least one dividing unit. The two plates are parallel to each other. There is a predetermined gap between two plates. The plate is one of a glass plate, a low-emissivity glass or a polycarbonate plate. The aerogel is compounded with a silicon polymer, and has a hydroxyl group filled between two plates. The dividing unit is placed between two plates, and divides space.

Provided is aerogel composite foam, which maintains heat insulation property to the highest degree, shows improved compression strength and brittleness, and has various shapes. The aerogel composite foam comprises, based on the total volume, 1-90 vol% of aerogel particles, and 10-99 vol% of hard urethane foam, and has a heat conductivity of 10-50 mW/mk, a density of 0.03-20 g/cm^3, and a compression strength of 1-10 kg/cm^2. The aerogel particles include silica aerogel particles, and the hard urethane foam is obtained by foaming a reaction product of a polyol with an isocyanate by using a foaming agent.

A method for preparing synthetic zeolite using organic sludge is provided to prepare the synthetic zeolite by immobilizing and granulating the porous zeolite after preparing a porous zeolite by pyrolyzing sludge in an anoxic state to obtain a carbide with high yield and passing the carbide through the hydrothermal synthesis process, and crush the synthetic zeolite to powder with a desired average particle diameter according to use applications so that the powder can be utilized as an adsorbent for organic matters and heavy metals. A method for preparing synthetic zeolite using a pyrolyzed carbide of organic sludge comprises: a pre-treatment step of milling an organic sludge of which a moisture content is controlled to 80% or lower through dehydration into power so as to sort particle sizes of the sludge powder; a pyrolysis step of pyrolyzing the dried organic sludge powder to obtain a carbide after injecting a pre-treated organic sludge powder into a pyrolysis equipment and drying the pre-treated organic sludge powder to a moisture content of 3% or lower; a hydrothermal synthesis step of reacting the obtained carbide under a strong alkali condition and washing a product with water to prepare a zeolite powder; and a immobilizing and granulating step of mixing a sulfuric acid solution and water glass with the zeolite powder obtained from the hydrothermal synthesis step, and drying the mixture to prepare a molded zeolite.

An aerogel and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to improve adiabatic property, porosity, and transparency of the aerogel, by forming a gold or silver coated layer on a surface of a wet gel through chemisorption of thiol groups and gold or silver. A wet gel is prepared by a sol-gel process of aerogel precursor such as metal alkoxide or water glass. A surface of the wet gel is reformed with thiol groups by submerging the wet gel into a mixture solution of sulfur-containing compound and alcohol. A gold or silver coated layer is formed on the surface of the wet gel by submersing the surface-reformed wet gel in a gold or silver nanoparticle solution so that gold or silver is self assembled on the surface of the wet gel through chemisorption of thiol groups and gold or silver. The wet gel coated with the gold or silver coating layer is dried.

An organic matter pre-treating system and an organic matter pre-treating method for measuring heavy metals in wastewater are provided to reduce a time duration of pre-treatment for measuring the concentration of heavy metals, and efficiently recover heavy metals from wastewater by accurately measuring the concentration of heavy metals in real-time. An organic matter pre-treating system(1) for measuring heavy metals in wastewater comprises: an agitation tank(4) into which a first H2SO4 solution discharged from a first H2SO4 solution tank(5) and a first NaOH solution discharged from a first NaOH solution tank(6) are injected to adjust the pH of wastewater, and a hydrogen peroxide solution is injected to decompose organic matters in wastewater while agitating wastewater containing heavy metals; an ultraviolet irradiating means for irradiating ultraviolet rays onto wastewater to increase the generation efficiency of OH radicals such that the organic matters are finally decomposed into CO2 and H2O by accelerating the decomposition of hydrogen peroxide in the pH adjusted wastewater, thereby reacting hydrogen peroxide with various types of organic matters; and a retention tank(13) into which a second H2SO4 solution discharged from a second H2SO4 solution tank(14) and a second NaOH solution discharged from a second NaOH solution tank(15) are injected to readjust the pH of wastewater of which organic matters are decomposed by the ultraviolet irradiating means.
