Abstract: 본발명은다수공극의계층적분포와공극을이루는금속재의구조적특성을제어하여소망하는수준의미세조직과제품의밀도및 기계적특성을갖는셀 구조의제품을생산하기위한계층적셀 구조를갖는다공질금속재료및 그제조방법에관한것으로서, 이에따른제조방법의특징은, (a) 코어재와피복용금속재를이용하여상기코어재를상기피복용금속재가감싼형태의봉상시편으로제작하는단계; (b) 상기봉상시편복수개수를모아제 1 다발로형성하고, 상기제 1 다발을그 길이방향으로압출하여상기봉상시편들이균일한크기를이루며계층적으로분포된이종의복합재료로제작하는단계; 및 (c) 상기이종의복합재료중 상기코어재를제거하는단계;를포함하여이루어진다. 본발명에따르면, 봉상시편과이종의복합재료및 이종의멀티재료들이제품내에방향성을갖고단면상계층적분포를이루며, 다양한조건의조절을통해제작한수 코어재의제거하여제작함으로써공극형성의방향성과더불어그 크기및 밀도(단면적대비공극의분포도) 등을다양하게할 수있으므로경량화정도또는기계적강도등 소망하는물성수준을갖는계층적셀 구조를갖는다공질금속재료를얻을수 있다.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a porous metallic material having a hierarchical cell structure and a manufacturing method thereof for producing a product with a cell structure which has desired microstructures, desired product density, and desired mechanical properties by controlling the hierarchical distribution of pores and the structural properties of a porous metallic material. The manufacturing method of the porous metallic material having the hierarchical cell structure includes (a) a step of manufacturing rod-shaped specimens using a core material and a covering metallic material which covers the core material; (b) a step of forming a first bundle by gathering the specimens and manufacturing a composite of different materials, in which the rod-shaped specimens with a uniform size are hierarchically distributed, by extruding the first bundle in the longitudinal direction; and (c) a step of removing the core material from the composite of the different materials. The rod-shaped specimens, the composite of the different materials, and a multi-material of different materials obtain directivity and form the hierarchical distribution inside the product. The present invention manufactures the metallic material by removing the male core material manufactured by controlling various conditions so that the directivity, the size, and the density (the distribution of the pores in comparison with cross sectional area) of the pores can be varied. Therefore, the present invention can obtain a porous metallic material with a hierarchical cell having desired properties such as weight and mechanical strength.
