Abstract: PURPOSE: An apparatus for measuring floating rate of media in filtration tank is provided to effectively separate foreign matter from media and prevent overflow of media. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus comprises a filtration tank(10) which is arranged with a trough(30), a wash water supply pipe(50) and a pipe(40) packed with gravels; a complex media of sand and activated carbon(20) which is interposed between the gravel bed and the wash water supply pipe; a bar(61) which is selectively mounted at one place on inner side of the filtration tank or the wash water supply pipe; and measuring pipes(60) which are installed at the lower side of the bar to catch suspended substance when washing.
