    Abstract: PURPOSE: A radiator is provided to prevent a fire and a reduction of warmth according to a calorification of high temperature by using a calorification of low temperature to maintain a temperature under 100deg.C as a heating source. CONSTITUTION: In starting a radiator(1) by controlling a control button(15), a calorification is generated by feeding a power to a plate-shape heating element(3). Indoor air is inhaled through an inhaling grill(9) by driving a fan(5). The air is ventilated to a ventilating grill(8) via a space between the heating element(3) and a heat reflecting plate(4). The front face of the heating element(3) is directly contacted with the indoor air. Radiating heat is ventilated from the front face of the heating element(3). Heat from the rear face of the heating element and the heat reflecting plate(4) is ventilated through the ventilating grill(8) on a casing of the radiator by driving the fan(5). The heating element(3) maintains a calorificated state under 100deg.C always. An overheated state is detected by a temperature sensor(16) when the calorification of the heating element(3) is over 100deg.C. The power supply is blocked by overheat preventing device(17) when the overheated state is detected. The operation of the radiator is stopped.
