Abstract: A preparation method of a Pd alloy membrane for hydrogen gas separation is provided to improve hydrogen permeability and durability while maintaining excellent infinite selectivity relative to hydrogen gas by manufacturing the membrane by using a dry vacuum process only in a state that a wet coating process is completely excluded. A preparation method of a Pd alloy membrane for hydrogen gas separation under in-situ dry vacuum comprises the steps of: (a) treating a surface of a porous metal support by plasma; (b) continuously forming a Pd layer and a metal layer on an upper part of the plasma surface-treated porous metal support by dry deposition process; and (c) reflowing the Pd and the metal layer to obtain an alloy membrane. The porous support is a porous Ni support. The metal deposited onto the Pd layer is at least one metal selected from the group consisting of copper, silver, nickel, ruthenium, and molybdenum. The metal deposited onto the Pd layer is copper.
