    Abstract: A silk nano-fiber, a method for manufacturing the silk nano-fiber, bio-composite materials using the silk nano-fiber, and a method for manufacturing the bio-composite materials are provided to improve the thermal stability of the silk nano-fiber, by manufacturing the silk nano-fiber using waste silk through an electro-spinning type. A silk fibroin solution is manufactured by using waste silk discharged during a silk fiber manufacturing process(S10). The waste silk fibroin solution is dialyzed(S20). The dialyzed waste silk fibroin is freeze-dried(S30). The freeze-dried waste silk fibroin is dissolved in an organic solution to manufacture a spinning solution(S40). The spinning solution is electro-spun to collect silk nano-fibers(S50). The collected silk nano-fibers are chemically treated(S60).
