    Abstract: PURPOSE: A chitosan-NIPAM thermosensitive polymer coagulant and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to reduce manufacturing costs which is required to sludge treatment, and to easily and rapidly perform a dehydration and a purification process. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a chitosan-NIPAM thermosensitive polymer coagulant includes a step for dissolving chitosan and N-isopropyl acrylamide in an acetic acid aqueous solution and a step for neutralizing the acetic acid aqueous solution with an oxidation-reduction initiator. In a dissolving step, tethramethyl ethylenediamine is further contained as a reaction accelerator.
