Abstract: PURPOSE: A device and method for automatically memorizing location of electric motion seat according to the fastening of seat belt is provided to improve an availability ratio of an electric seat location memory by registering the desire location of the seat. CONSTITUTION: A device and method for automatically memorizing location of electric motion seat according to the fastening of seat belt comprises an input part(30), a storage part(20), a starting detection part(40), a buckle insertion detection part(50), a seat status detecting part(60) and a controller(10). The input part comprises a plurality of memory buttons. The storage part stores the seat state information, the seat state information and the mapped memory button information. The buckle insertion detection part detects the insertion of a seat-belt buckle into a buckle holder. The controller compares the detected seat state information and preset seat state information. If a comparing result is different the result is stored in the storage.
