Abstract: PURPOSE: Provided is a Pb-free piezoelectric ceramic composition of the (Bi4-xLax)(Ti3-5y/4Vy)O12 + zmol% TiO2 for ceramic oscillators requiring good piezoelectric characteristics and sinterability by substituting V for Ti and adding excess Ti in the conventional (Bi,La)4Ti3O12 system.
