Abstract: 본 발명은 링구조의 레이저 파장 변환장치 및 링구조 광학수단을 이용한 레이저 파장 변환방법에 관한 것으로, 제 1레이저 펄스를 발생시키는 제 1레이저 펄스 발생수단과, 플라즈마를 포함하여 상기 제 1레이저 펄스의 입사에 의해 상대론적 플라즈마 파(relativistic plasma wave)가 발생되는 가스젯 챔버와, 상기 제 1레이저 펄스와 시간지연을 갖고 상기 플라즈마 밀도가 감소하는 지점에서 상기 상대론적 플라즈마 파의 진행방향으로 입사되는 제 2레이저 펄스를 발생시키는 제 2레이저 펄스 발생수단과, 상기 가스젯 챔버를 투과한 상기 제 1레이저 펄스와 상기 제 2레이저 펄스가 상기 가스젯 챔버에 적어도 1회 이상 반복하여 입사되도록 하는 링구조 광학수단을 포함하여 구성되는 링구조의 레이저 파장 변환장치 및 이를 이용한 레이저 파장 변환방법을 제 공함으로써, 광자가속이 반복하여 일어날 수 있는 테이블 탑형태의 광자 가속기 개발의 기초 기술로 활용될 수 있다.

Abstract: PURPOSE: An apparatus for converting a laser wavelength of a ring structure and a method for converting a laser wavelength are provided to continuously change the frequency of the laser pulse. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for converting a laser wavelength of a ring structure includes a first laser pulse generator, a gas jet chamber(500), a second pulse generator and a ring structure optical member. The first laser pulse generator generates a first laser pulse. The gas jet chamber(500) includes a plasma to generate a relativistic plasma wave by inputting the first laser pulse(100). The second pulse generator generates a second laser pulse(110) inputted to the traveling direction of the relativistic plasma wave at the position of reducing the plasma density with having a time delay with respect to the first laser pulse(100). And, the ring structure optical member allows the first laser pulse(100) and the second laser pulse(110) to be repeatedly inputted to the gas jet chamber(500) at least one time after passing through the gas jet chamber(500).
