Abstract: PURPOSE: A radar for investigating the ground is provided to improve the resolution of an underground structure image by setting a delay line to minimize a surface reflection. CONSTITUTION: An antenna(20) is comprised of a transmitting antenna(21) for transmitting a predetermined signal to a target to be investigated of an underground surface and a receiving antenna(22) for receiving a reflected signal from the target to be investigated. An investigation signal transmitting/receiving unit(10) provides a predetermined signal to the transmitting antenna(21) and receives the reflected signal received from the receiving antenna(22) to get a difference between the transmitting signal and the received signal. A digital signal processing unit(30) generates a predetermined oscillation frequency control signal to transfer it to the investigation signal transmitting/receiving unit(10) and performs a real-time A/D(Analog/Digital) conversion on the signal from the investigation signal transmitting/receiving unit(10) to output the result value. An information providing unit(40) has a program including predetermined functions and displays an image of the target to be investigated on a screen on the basis of the result value outputted from the digital signal processing unit(30).

Abstract: PURPOSE: A power-factor improvement digital controller having a variable gain is provided to compensate the whole open loop gain by varying discontinuously or continuously the gain of a current loop according to the amount change of an input voltage. CONSTITUTION: A first gain providing unit(14) provides a first uniform gain for a predetermined current error value generated and inputted from a signal processing unit. A second gain providing unit(28) divides a second uniform gain by an absolute value of a predetermined multiple value of an input voltage to output it. An operation processing unit receives an output signal from the first and second gain providing units(14,28) to calculate it. A third gain providing unit(34) generates a value by providing a third uniform gain for the signal outputted from the operation processing unit to provide the generated value to the signal processing unit.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A diagnosis control method in a local control system using the Internet is provided to generate and send the optimized diagnosis program to the remote MMI system. CONSTITUTION: The local control system(10) is connected to the remote DBs(201), an MMI system(202), an Internet server(20n) and other local control systems(301 - 30n) using the Internet. The local control system consists of the Internet interface part, a control module, an analog I/O part, a universal communication module, a data processing and control part and a data storage part. The data processing and control part can consist of a system control part, an algorithm part, a data processing part and an application operating part. The data processing and control part collects the newest information and data from the DBs or the servers and compares the status of the constituent parts with the stored data. If the compared difference is bigger than the allowed error range, the data processing part marks it abnormal and sends the information to the MMI system. The processing unit makes the data able to be shared using the Internet.
