Abstract: PURPOSE: An AGC real time performance evaluation system and an evaluation method thereof are provided to evaluate the AGC performance of a generator by accurately calculating and analyzing the ramp rate of the generator. CONSTITUTION: A communication module communicates with an SCADA(Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition) server(110) of an energy management system(10). A central controller(230) includes a selection module and an operation module. The selection module selects an object generator or evaluation performance test method. The operation module calculates the ramp rate of a generator to be tested using current output and time data of the generator. A database unit(250) stores the AGC data about the generator. A display unit(270) displays the AGC data about the generator.
