    Abstract: PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for detecting vibration using a lattice-shaped optical cable are provided to easily detect vibration regardless of target detecting objects by detecting the vibration in a noncontact state without installing separate communication and power cables. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for detecting vibration(1) comprises multiple vibration detecting parts(10_1,10_2,10_n) and an optical measuring part(20). The vibration detecting parts are commonly connected to one of cores of optical cables to receive optical signals periodically. The vibration detecting parts detect vibration by using the lattice-shaped optical cables and transmit reflective waves corresponding to a specific wave of the optical signals. The optical measuring part transmits the optical signals to multiple vibration detecting parts and provides the amount of vibration by using the moved position values of reflective waves.     Abstract: An optical fiber sensor system, and a system and a method for managing an optical ground wire are provided to obtain measurement result at short time and realize a simple frequency control circuit for acquiring a brillouin transition frequency. An optical fiber sensor system(200) includes a light source unit, a branch unit, an optical fiber unit, an optical modulating unit, a reflector, an optical detecting unit and an optical fiber amplifying unit. The light source unit(210) outputs a pulse light having predetermined output level and line width. The branch unit divides the light outputted from the light source unit into a first light and a second light. The optical fiber unit(230) generates a back light. The optical modulating unit(241,242) modulates the divided first light into a pump light and modulates the divided second light into a probe light. A mixed light is created from the modulated pump light and probe light and is outputted to one end of the optical fiber unit. The reflector(250) reflects the mixed light at an end portion of the optical fiber unit. The optical detecting unit(270) detects the back light generated at the optical fiber unit in order to monitor the state of the optical fiber unit. The optical fiber amplifying unit(260) amplifies the mixed light such that the modulated pump light and the modulated probe light should be alternated with time difference.
