Abstract: A high hardness powder feeding apparatus is provided to allow the powder to be transferred and fed in the best molten state for coating or welding application by accurately controlling the amount of powder melted by a high temperature heat of a plasma state in a thermal spray coater or a torch of a metal powder welding apparatus. A high hardness powder feeding apparatus comprises: a powder storage tank(102) having a powder feeding port(101) formed at one side thereof; a pipe(110) for feeding a gas that maintains an internal pressure of the storage tank; a gas pressure control device(119) that outputs a control signal for controlling and maintaining gas at the specific pressure; an electro-pneumatic converter(118) controlled by the gas pressure control device; a carrier gas feeding pipe(109); a rotary joint(104) connected between a fixed pipe and a rotating pipe; a fixed quantity transfer device-driving shaft(103) in which a gas transfer pipe(112) is connected; a fixed quantity transfer device(105) connected to the fixed quantity transfer device-driving shaft; a drive motor(106) for driving the fixed quantity transfer device-driving shaft; a drive motor speed controller(117) for controlling the rotation speed of the drive motor; an oscillator(108) for exerting vibration energy; an oscillator driving compressed air-feeding pipe(111) for driving the oscillator; a filter(120) connected to the powder storage tank; an exhaust valve(113) connected to the filter; a dust collecting tank(114) which is connected to the exhaust valve, and which has a filter(115) mounted on its inner part; and an exhaust orifice(116) connected to the dust collecting tank.
