Abstract: PURPOSE: An optical subscriber terminal for solving a fault in a TDMA-PON(Passive Optical Network) is provided to block optical signal output by sensing a fault in a part. CONSTITUTION: An LD(Laser Diode) driver(310) drives a laser diode(320). A media access controller(300) applies a burst enable signal to the LD driver. If the burst enable signal is not applied to the LD driver and current for outputting the optical signal of the LD, a fault solving unit(350) deactivates a power supply unit(330) and the LD driver.
