    Abstract: PURPOSE: A receiver using a forward cancellation method is provided to remove an interference signal, which is an element causing to deteriorate reception sensitivity, and a transmitting signal, which is leaked to a reception path during transmitting operation, by using a forward cancellation method. CONSTITUTION: A directional coupler(402) divides a receiving signal, a transmitting leakage power signal and an interference signal inputted from an antenna into two paths, respectively. A main processing unit has an LNA(Low Noise Amplifier)(403), a BPF(Band Pass Filter)(404), an RF(Radio Frequency) amplifier(405) and a delay(406). The main processing unit amplifies the receiving signal and the interference signal, and reduces the transmitting leakage power signal divided by the directional coupler(402). An additional processing unit has BPFs(407,410), phase shifters(408,411) and VGAs(Variable Gain Amplifiers)(409,412). The additional processing unit restrains the receiving signal. The additional processing unit converts the transmitting leakage power signal and the interference signal divided by the directional coupler(402) into a transmitting leakage power signal and an interference signal in which their levels are identical to levels of the transmitting leakage power signal and the interference signal of the main processing unit and their phases have inverse phases of the transmitting leakage power signal and the interference signal of the main processing unit.
