CONSTITUTION: A door trapping detecting device for a vehicle comprises a light emitting display(40), an illumination sensor(50), a door detecting unit, a control unit, and a warning unit. The light emitting display is included in a detecting hole(35) formed along a covered surface of a door. The illumination sensor detects illumination of the light emitting display in the detecting hole when the door is opened or is closed. The door detecting unit detects an opening state of the door. The control unit determines the opening state of the door and operates the light emitting display. The control unit detects door trapping through illumination change detected from a plurality of the illumination sensors. The warning unit warns the door trapping according to a detecting result of the control unit.
