Abstract: The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for controlling a realistic effect system based on a user reaction. The realistic effect system controlling method which is disclosed by an embodiment of the present invention includes the following steps of: confirming that a current frame is an authoring frame in which a realistic effect is inserted by an author or not; sensing a reaction about a user motion in case the current frame is the authoring frame; analyzing the reaction of the user based on a predetermined algorithm; and controlling a realistic feeling device based on the analysis result. The present invention is able to expand the execution of a realistic effect between a virtual-to-real and a real-to-virtual according to a user reaction into an operation of the real-to-real and is also able to increase the immersion and interest of a user by the operation of a realistic feeling device according to reactions of a momentary user operation.
