Abstract: 본 발명은 고속으로 양자 암호 키를 전송할 수 있는 자동 보상 양자 암호 송수신장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로 양자 암호 송신 장치는 파장 변환부,광 감쇠기, 광 위상 변조기 및 패러데이 미러를 포함하고, 양자 암호 수신 장치는 편광 분할기, 광 커플러, 광필터 및 광자 검출기를 포함하여 단일 광자가 전송되는 양자 경로상의 광섬유의 레일리이 산란에 의한 전송 속도의 한계를 극복하기 위한 시스템 및 방법에 관한 것이다.

Abstract: An apparatus and a method for automatically transmitting/receiving compensation quantum cryptography at a high speed are provided to solve a problem of an existing system in which a transmission rate is limited due to Rayleigh scattering of an optical fiber by including a wavelength conversion unit in a quantum signal transmitter and an optical filter for removing an optical signal caused by the Rayleigh scattering in a quantum signal receiver. A wavelength conversion unit converts an optical pulse signal having the first wavelength into an optical pulse signal having the second wavelength(S410). An optical attenuator reduces strength of the wavelength-converted optical pulse signal such that the optical pulse signal has strength of a single photon(S420). Reduced phase of the optical pulse signal is shifted in an optical phase modulator(S430). A Faraday mirror rotates polarization of the phase-shifted optical pulse signal by 90 degrees to reflect it(S440). A polarization divider of a quantum cryptography receiver(Bob) receives the reflected optical pulse signal and divides it into vertical polarization components(S450). The optical phase modulator shifts the phase of a signal having the first polarization component among the polarization-divided optical pulse signal(S460). There occurs interference between the optical pulse signal phase-shifted by an optical coupler and a signal having the second polarization component among the polarization-divided optical pulse signal(S470). An optical filter allows the second wavelength optical pulse signal among the interference signals to pass therethrough(S480). A photon detector detects an output signal of the optical filter(S490).
