Abstract: PURPOSE: A satellite communication transceiver for mitigating interference is provided to improve performance in mobile body Doppler environment and non-linear amplification module by applying a band spreading technology based on direct sequence to a DVB-S2(Digital Video Broadcasting-via Satellite second generation) system. CONSTITUTION: A modulator(100) modulates a satellite communication signal. A band spreading unit(110) transmits the signal to outside after band spreading. The band spreading unit includes a matching filter unit(120), a decimation unit(130) and a direct sequence band spreading unit(140). The direct sequence band spreading unit includes a band spreading code applier(150), a scrambling unit(160), a oversampling unit(170) and a pulse forming unit(180).

Abstract: An apparatus and a method of frame synchronization using phase differential information in a DVB(Digital Video Broadcasting) transmission system are provided to improve the reliability of frame synchronization estimation by performing hard combining for pilot symbol streams in a hot start state. An apparatus of frame synchronization using phase differential information in a DVB transmission system includes a cold start detector(21), a first comparing unit(22), and an acquisition controlling unit(23). The cold start detector(21) calculates a correlation value(a first decision variable) for a received symbol data stream by using the phase differential information with all SOF(Start of Frame) symbol streams for frame synchronization in one SOF symbol period. The first comparing unit(22) compares the first decision variable with a first threshold value. The acquisition controlling unit(23) determines whether the initial frame synchronization is performed, and controls the cold start detector(21) to operate until the initial frame synchronization is performed.
