Abstract: 본 발명은 근거리 무선 통신 방식인 IEEE 802.15.4 프로토콜(ZigBee)을 이용한 이동 통신 단말기의 핸즈 프리 기능 제공 장치 및 방법에 관한 것이다.
본 발명에 따른 이동 통신 단말기의 핸즈 프리 기능 제공 장치는, 기지국을 통하여 음성신호를 송수신하는 이동 통신 단말기; 상기 이동 통신 단말기와 소정의 디스플레이 신호 및 통화 연결을 위한 통화 제어 신호를 송수신하고, 지그비 프로토콜에 의하여 상기 소정의 디스플레이 신호와, 통화 제어 신호 및 음성 신호를 변조 또는 복조함으로써 무선 송수신하는 지그비 코디네이터; 및 상기 지그비 코디네이터와 지그비 프로토콜을 이용하여 상기 소정의 디스플레이 신호와, 통화 제어 신호 및 음성 신호를 변조 또는 복조함으로써 무선 송수신하고, 상기 소정의 디스플레이 신호를 시각적으로 제공하는 지그비 디바이스를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.

Abstract: An apparatus and a method for providing a hands-free function in a mobile communication terminal using ZigBee are provided to enable a ZigBee device to wirelessly transceive signals after modulating or demodulating a predetermined display signal, and a call control signal, and a voice signal by using a ZigBee coordinator and a ZigBee protocol and visually provide the predetermined display signal, thereby providing a voice quality as much as a user can not discriminate half duplex from full duplex and cheaply constructing hardware in comparison with full duplex. An apparatus for providing a hands-free function in a mobile communication terminal(100) using ZigBee comprises the followings: a mobile communication terminal(100); a ZigBee coordinator(110) which transceives a display signal and a call control signal for call connection with the mobile communication terminal(100) and transceives the signals by wireless after modulating or demodulating the predetermined display signal, and the call control signal, and a voice signal by a ZigBee protocol; and a ZigBee device(210) which transceives the signals by wireless after modulating or demodulating the predetermined display signal, and the call control signal, and the voice signal by using the ZigBee coordinator(110) and the ZigBee protocol and visually provides the predetermined display signal.
