Abstract: PURPOSE: A network device, report message suppression method, report message size reduction method, and report message processing method are provided to prevent the transmission of the report message by selectively transmitting the report message. CONSTITUTION: If a report message is transmitted to a router, a report message reception confirmation unit(310) checks a reception of the report message from other network devices during a preset delay time. A report message transmission decision unit(320) determines the transmission of the report message based on the received report message. A report message processing unit(330) transmits the transmission object report message to the router or restricts the transmission of the transmission object report message based on the decision of the transmission.
