Abstract: A virtual painting training system and method are provided to reproduce and virtualize an input/output unit and a painting simulation in real time to prevent waste of training materials through virtualization and enable smooth communication between a teacher and students. A virtual paining training system includes a display device(100) displaying a virtual screen, an operating unit(120) by which a student responds to the virtual screen, a data processor(110) for processing a response of the student, and a data generator(113) for generating a painting image of a ship according to the response of the student.
