Abstract: A mobile convergence computing terminal is provided to operate at low power consumption and be stabilized by reducing the load caused by the calculation when designing and fabricating a terminal that provides multi-services. A graphic accelerator(403) is connected to a CPU(400) through an interface. A dedicated SDRAM(404) is installed in the graphic accelerator to configured a dedicated frame buffer, therefore an optimized graphic function can be provided to a user. The output of the graphic accelerator is connected to each display unit(405) and a TV encoder(406), and the EV encoder is used for the output of an image signal. A USB host controller(407) supports a main memory device(408) or a subsidiary memory device(409) of flash memory type. A GPS receiver(104) which is connected to glue logic provides a service for GPS navigation by receiving a UART signal.

Abstract: A mobile terminal having a remote control function and a remote control method using the same are provided to allow a user to conveniently control various home appliances by using his/her mobile phone without having to find a corresponding remote controller whenever necessary. A device information obtaining unit(100) obtains the identifier of each device and an URL which connects it(100) to a server providing application programs of the devices. An application program unit(105) includes application programs corresponding to each identifier and comprises the followings: an application program acquiring unit for downloading an application program corresponding to the identifier from the server based on the obtained identifier and URL; and an application program managing unit for installing/managing the acquired application program. Abstract: A dual-mode terminal and a voice synthesizing call method in the dual-mode terminal are provided to convert inputted characters into voice in real time to perform voice call communication through a wireless voice network. A TTS(Text To Speech) client unit(330) transmits input character data to a TTS server(340) through WiBro(Wireless Broadband Internet), and receives converted voice data corresponding to the input character data from the server(340). Abstract: Disclosed is a message communications method which transmits/receives a constant message without depending on a network and causing a violation of privacy. The message communications method includes a step of generating business specification data based on input information, a step of adding the generated business specification data to a P2P information element of a probe request frame, a step of transmitting the probe request frame to another message communications device.
