Abstract:
PURPOSE: A plug and play sensor module, a sensor node, and a plug and play connection method are provided to connect various sensor modules to a sensor node by supplying a plug and play function of the sensor module. CONSTITUTION: A sensor module(100) and a sensor node(200) are connected through sensor interfaces(140,230). The sensor interface is comprised in order to accommodate all interface methods. A sensor module includes a sensor(110), a plug and play connection processor(120), and a power manager(130). An interface part consists of a sensor interface. Abstract:
PURPOSE: A sensor driver providing method capable of reducing a manufacturing period and manufacturing cost of a sensor node and an apparatus thereof, a management method of a sensor driver and an apparatus thereof are provided to supply a suitable sensor driver for different sensors according to various application services. CONSTITUTION: A server determination unit(301) determines a neighboring sensor driver management server. The neighboring sensor driver management server stores a sensor driver which corresponds to a driver search request message. A driver transfer unit(302) requests the sensor driver to the determined neighbor sensor driver management server. The driver transfer unit sends the requested sensor driver to the sensor node which transmits the driver search request message. The server determination part determines the neighboring sensor driver management server among multiple neighboring sensor driver management servers using DS (Directory Service). Abstract:
PURPOSE: A sensor node including a general-purpose interface port with a plug and play, sensor board including a general-purpose interface port with a sensor device driver, general-purpose interface port and each method thereof are provided to enable a control unit to automatically recognize and control a sensor unit through a universal interface port. CONSTITUTION: A universal interface port(240) offers an interface with a sensor board. The universal interface port downloads a sensor device driver from a connected sensor board. A controller(210) controls the sensor board by using the downloaded sensor device driver. The controller processes sensing data which is generated by a senor included in the sensor board. The universal interface port download a sensor device driver which is related with at least one among SPI(Serial Peripheral Interface), I2C(Inter-Integrated Circuit), ADC(Analog to Digital Converter), Interrupt, and frequency.
