Abstract: PURPOSE: An information expressing device and a method thereof are provided to expand an expression range of information by detecting position coordinates of a touch screen, dividing information displayed on the position coordinates into foreground and background expression information, expressing the background expression information as patterns, and providing the information with the foreground expression information. CONSTITUTION: A touch recognizing unit(110) detects position information of a touch screen which a user touches. An information expressing unit(120) detects position coordinates by analyzing the position information and generates patterns for dividing information corresponding to the position coordinates into foreground and background expression information. An information output unit(130) receives the patterns to classify and display the foreground and background expression information.
