According to the present invention, an apparatus for load distribution based on resource usage prediction comprises a service platform configured to save multiple content and to generate service resource information including information about the required amount of resources in order to service the content; a service processing unit configured to include one or more service units and to generate service unit information including information about the amount of the resources which are allocated to each of the service units; and a load distribution unit configured to compare the received service resource information and the received service unit information based on a received service identification number and then selecting the service unit for providing services corresponding to the received service identification number among the service units.

PURPOSE: An on-demand type contents delivering overlay network configuring method and a device thereof are provided to allocate an overlay network to services and contents providers by configuring the overlay network for delivering contents. CONSTITUTION: A request receiving part (110) receives the network providing request of a service provider providing contents and network configuration information needed for a service provided from the service providers. A resource managing part (150) manages resource information including the resource using state information of a network required for the configuration of the network. CONSTITUTION: A SmartC WS receives a user ID and a keyword from a UE(User Equipment) through a SmartC Web(110). The SmartC WS extracts an interest keyword(120). The SmartC WS receives a user viewing history control table from a user history(130,135). The SmartC WS obtains a content list through Web Contents Search connection(160,170). The SmartC WS transmits the received content list in the Smart Web(175). The client screen in which the Smart Web is generated is transmitted to a UE(180,185).

PURPOSE: An IPTV service method and system using a satellite are provided to reduce transmission delay in case of offering the service of a terrestrial network IPTV system through the satellite. CONSTITUTION: A classifer(220) offers the index value of a sub proxy corresponding to a data packet. In case the sub proxy corresponding to the data packet does not exist, a manager(230) creates the sub proxy corresponding to the data packet. According to the presence of the sub proxy corresponding to the data packet of a service provider, a main proxy controller(210) executes the classifer or the manager. The main proxy controller transmits the generated ACK of an ACK generator(242) to a terminal.

A handover method in a mobile wireless network is provided to transmit a fast binding update message by a new access router after a mobile node is accessed to the new access router, thereby providing a seamless service while minimizing processing delay due to handover. A mobile node requests information required for handover by a PAR(Previous Access Router). The mobile node transmits an FBU(Fast Binding Update) message to a new access router(305). The new access router delivers a packet to the mobile node(309). The mobile node releases connection between the second layer and the previous access router(310).

A method and an apparatus for receiving communication data are provided to realize continuous satellite communication without additional satellite communication repeaters by receiving data at an NLOS(None Line Of Sight) through a mobile communication network. An apparatus(400) for interacting wireless networks comprises a satellite communication gateway(402), a mobile communication gateway(404), a connection control unit(406), a wireless connection gateway(408) and a wireless connection device(409). The apparatus supports the IPv4(Internet Protocol Version 4) and IPv6, and performs a subnet management function. The satellite communication gateway converts satellite digital communication data signals into a signal format which is able to be used in the apparatus. The mobile communication gateway converts the data signals of the wireless LAN(Local Area Network) or Wibro(Wireless Broadband) into a signal format which is able to be used in the apparatus. The connection control unit analyzes the data signals received from the satellite communication gateway, and controls the mobile communication gateway so that the mobile communication gateway can receive the data signals, if the level of the signals is lower than a reference level. The wireless connection gateway converts the signals received from the connection control device into a signal format which is suitable for an AP(Access Point) within a mobile terminal. The wireless connection device outputs the converted signals to the AP within the mobile terminal.

An apparatus for improving traffic processing performance in consideration of QoS in a bi-directional satellite connection system and traffic security, and its security method are provided to guarantee QoS by classifying traffic of each service and requesting a central station to allocate resources of a return link according to each service. An SMT(Satellite Mobile Terminal) PEP(Performance Enhancement Proxy) server receives an IP packet from a user terminal and stores it, transfers a reception response signal with respect to the IP packet to the user terminal by proxy for a central station, inserts traffic type information previously stored in a TCP(Transmission Control Protocol) header into an IP header of the IP packet before the IP packet is encoded, and re-transmits an IP packet, for which a reception response signal has not received, according to a re-transmission request from the central station. An SMT VPN(Virtual Private Network) server encodes an IP payload excluding the IP header of the IP packet from the SMT PEP server. A traffic classifier classifies the encoded IP packet according to traffic type information by using the inserted traffic type information. A data transmission/reception processing unit requests the central station to allocate resources of a return link with respect to the classified IP packet according to a priority level of each traffic type.

Provided is an apparatus and method for recombining multi-protocol encapsulation (MPE) packets. The apparatus includes the steps of: a buffer for buffering transport stream (TS) packets; a first memory for temporally storing residue data; a second memory for storing a residue data existence flag and length information of data; a MPE recombination processor for analyzing header information, storing the length information of an MPE packet, creating an asynchronous transfer mode (ATM) cell header, reading packet data, creating and outputting an ATM adaptive layer 0 (AALO-ATM) cell and the read packet data, updating the length information of the data, reading the residue data, reading insufficient data and creating an AALO-ATM cell; and a segmentation and reassemble (SAR) processor for buffering the AALO-ATM cell, and transporting the AALO-ATM cell.
