Abstract: 본 발명은 메일 서버(Mail Server)의 효율적인 관리를 위하여 메일 서버의 시스템 로그(System Log)를 분석하는 방법 및 그 기록 매체를 제공하는 데 그 목적이 있다.
본 발명에 따르면, 메일 서버를 관리하기 위한 센드메일 로그 분석 방법에 있어서, 메일 서버의 로그 파일로부터 메일에 관련된 로그를 추출하는 제 1 단계, 추출한 메일에 관련된 로그들을 동일한 메일 큐 식별자(ID)를 갖는 로그끼리 묶어서 테이블(Table)로 작성하는 제 2 단계 및 작성한 테이블에 수록된 로그들을 메일 종류별로 분류하는 제 3 단계를 포함한 것을 특징으로 하는 메일 로그 분석 방법이 제공된다.-

Abstract: PURPOSE: A send main log parsing method is provided to manage, maintain and work a mail server effectively by providing a chance of seizing a performance of a system and a mail use state according to a result of parsing a mail log of a mail server. CONSTITUTION: In a send main log parsing method, a mail server reads a system log file(201), and judges whether the read file is an end of file(EOF)(202). If not, there is judged whether the read file is a log corresponding to a specific condition assigned by a manager(203). If he read file is the log, the read file is temporarily stored in a temporary file(TMP file)(204). If the read file is not the log, return to step(201). If the read file is the end of file, the temporary file is read(205). There is judged whether the read temporary file is the end of file(206). If not, a table is made by collecting logs having the same mail que identification(ID)(207). If so, the table is read(208) in order to judge the yes or no of the end of file(209). If so, the result is outputted(219). If not, logs recorded in the table are divided according to a mail kind(210-218).
