Abstract: PURPOSE: A contour line simulation apparatus and method thereof are provided to offer interactive environment which is able to simulate three dimensional geographical data in a virtual space by receiving converted information corresponding to contour line data. CONSTITUTION: A creation unit(300) creates three dimensional geographical data by using contour line data. In case the transformation information corresponding to the contour line data is inputted, a converting unit(400) converts the contour line data. The converting unit updates the three dimensional geographical data according to the conversion of the contour line data. In case the converting information corresponding to the three dimensional geographical data is inputted, the converting unit converts the three dimensional geographical data. In case 'the transformation information corresponding to 3D geomorphic data' is inputted, the transform unit varies 3D geomorphic data. The converting unit updates the contour line data according to the conversion of the three dimensional geographical data.
