Abstract: PURPOSE: A 3D pointing device and method are provided to execute the function menu of a general monitor in a long distance. CONSTITUTION: An indicator(300) respectively transmits a plurality of different waves. The indicator directs any coordinates on a screen. A plurality of sensors(400) receives the electric wave. The sensor transmits an electric wave for response. A detector(200) grasps the directed coordinate by using the electric wave for response. A driving unit(100) executes a predetermined menu for the detected coordinate.
