Abstract: 차등서비스 제공을 위한 경로색에 기반한 자원 할당 장치 및 방법이 개시된다. 데이터베이스에는 사용자에 대한 계약정보, 라우터 정보, 및 네트워크 구성정보가 저장된다. 사용자 인터페이스부는 사용자로부터 요구사항을 입력받고, 사용자에게 자원 할당 결과를 전달하는 수단을 제공한다. 라우팅 프로토콜은 네트워크의 구성정보를 수집하여 데이터베이스에 저장하고, 구성정보를 기초로 경계라우터간의 경로를 설정한다. 결정부는 사용자에 해당하는 계약정보 및 라우팅 프로토콜에서 설정된 경로의 색을 기초로 요구사항에 대한 수락여부를 결정하며, 요구사항의 수락시 해당 경계라우터로 결정사항을 전달한다. 라우터 인터페이스부는 경계라우터와의 데이터 송수신수단을 제공한다. 이에 의해, 기본 서비스와 차별성을 가진 서비스를 원하는 사용자에게 우선 순위 서비스를 제공할 수 있고, 현재의 표준화된 차등 서비스의 상용화 모델을 제공할 수 있다.

Abstract: PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for allocating resources according to path colors for a differentiated service is provided so that an ISP(Internet Service Provider) can provide a differentiated service to Internet users. CONSTITUTION: A bandwidth broker(300) comprises a user interface part(310), a determination part(320), a GUI part(330), a router interface part(340), a database(350), a routing protocol part(360), and an SNMP management part(370). The bandwidth broker(300) receives user requirements from a user terminal(380) through the user interface part(310), and delivers a resource allocation result to the user terminal(380) through the user interface part(310). The determination part(320) checks the user's contract observance items, based on the user requirements transferred from the user interface part(310), and determines whether the user's request is acceptable. In this case, the bandwidth broker(300) executes acceptance control, based on a path color. The database(350) stores user requirements, router setup conditions, network resource usage policy, router information, network configuration information, etc. The routing protocol part(360) collects network configuration information, stores it in the database(350), and uses stored information in setting up each path between edge routers. The SNMP management part(370) collects information from routers through an SNMP and stores it in the database(350).

Abstract: PURPOSE: A network connection releasing method using an RSVP(Resource Reservation Protocol) in all-optical network is provided to increase a stability of a network and effectively protect a network resource by preventing generation of a protection and restoration process. CONSTITUTION: A source node(10) inserts an error code(120) of Deletion in Process into a reservation error(ResvErr) message(110) and transmits it to an ingress node(20) of an all-optical network(S101). The ingress node(20) disables an alarm monitor(S102) and transmits an ACK message to the source node(10)(S103). An egress node(30) also receives an ResvErr message(110) and transmits the ResvErr message with the error code of Deletion In Progress inserted therein to a destination node(40). The destination node(40) turns off an alarm function on the LOL(Loss of Light)(S106) and transmits an ACK message to the egress node(30) of the all-optical network(S107).
