Abstract: PURPOSE: A device for editing multimedia information and a method thereof are provided to input multimedia information in real time while writing a document by automatically inputting video or image information taken by a camera into an insertion area when the insertion area is set. CONSTITUTION: A display unit(120) displays a document input window for writing a document including multimedia information. A control unit(130) sets an insertion area for inputting images or videos into the document input window. If the insertion area is set, an image photographing unit(140) takes the images or the videos to be inputted into the document input window. The control unit inputs the images or the videos to the insertion area. If the insertion area is set, the control unit displays a preview image inputted through the image photographing unit on the insertion area.
