Abstract: The telemetering apparatus has a telemeter encoder for counting the output pulse of a pulse-type meter and producing the data in response to the read demand signal from a subscriber matching apparatus. The telemeter encoder comprises a meter setting information section (19), a BCD converter (20) for counting the input pulse, an oscillator (25), a controller (26) for producing the control signals (CS1-CS3) in response to a data transmission signal (CMD), a buffer (22), a decoder (21) for producing the data selection signal, a parity/format producer (23) for adding the parity bit in the signal from the buffer, and a shift register (24) for converting the parallel data into the serial data.
