    Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for modeling a channel by using multi-dimensional power distribution density and a device using the same are provided to estimate power distribution density by considering dispersion characteristics of a multipath and to include the number of variables of the power distribution density required for channel analysis. CONSTITUTION: An algorithm applying unit(332) generates a parameter of power distribution density. The algorithm applying unit analyses the parameter. The algorithm applying unit estimates the power distribution density. The algorithm applying unit compares the estimated power distribution density with the power distribution density of a first signal to calculate the parameter. A modeling unit(333) checks statistical distribution by using each power distribution density parameter checked by the algorithm applying unit. The modeling unit models a channel.
