Abstract: 본 발명은 RFID 시스템에서 쿼리 트리 기반의 태그를 인식하는 방법에 관한 것으로, 이를 위하여 본 발명은, 이진 트리 워킹 알고리즘(binary tree working algorithm), 쿼리 트리 알고리즘(query tree algorithm), 충돌 추적 알고리즘(collision tracking tree algorithm) 등의 충돌 방지 프로토콜을 이용하여 태그를 인식하는 종래 방법과는 달리, 리더의 초기화 이후 다수의 태그 각각에 대응하는 임시 아이디를 생성하고, 리더의 질의가 수신되면 태그에서 리더 질의의 특정 비트와 생성된 임시 아이디의 특정 비트를 비교하며, 비교 결과, 질의와 임시 아이디의 특정 비트가 동일하면, 임시 아이디의 나머지 비트를 리더로 송신하고, 충돌이 발생하면, 리더에 충돌이 발생한 질의를 저장하며, 충돌이 발생하지 않으면, 하나의 임시 아이디를 인식하여 리더는 해당 태그에 ACK 신호를 송신하고, 리더의 메모리에 질의가 없을 때까지 반복 수행함으로써, RFID 시스템에서 쿼리 트리 기반의 태그에 대해 임시 아이디를 생성하여 이러한 임시 아이디를 통해 태그 충돌을 방지하여 태그를 인식할 수 있는 것이다.

Abstract: A query tree-based tag identification method in an RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification) system is provided to enable the RFID system to identify tags at high-speed by offering a high performance anti-collision protocol while being implemented through fusion of characteristics of two protocols having limitation. A reader generates a temporary ID corresponding to each tag after initialization. If a query is received from the reader, the tag compares a specific bit of the received query with the specific bit of the temporary ID. If both specific IDs are matched with each other, the rest bits of the temporary ID are transmitted to the reader. If collision is generated, the query generating the collision is stored to the reader. If the collision is not generated, the reader transmits an acknowledge signal to the corresponding tag by identifying one temporary ID. Previous steps are repeatedly performed until the query is removed from a memory of the reader.
