Abstract: A WiBro(Wireless Broadband Internet) channel allocation method for a real-time broadcasting service is provided to be capable of allocating a channel for offering a real-time WiBro broadcasting service between a UE(User Equipment) and a WiBro base station by using a destination address of an IP(Internet Protocol) packet or a destination port number of a UDP/TCP(User Datagram Protocol/Transmission Control Protocol) packet, thereby effectively offering bandwidths for the real-time WiBro broadcasting service. When packets arrive from upper layer components(S100), lower link classification factors are checked from the arriving packets(S200). It is decided whether a multicast service is for real-time broadcasting(S300). If so, the packets are mapped with lower 8 bits of a multicast CID(Connection ID) to deliver the mapped packets to a UE, so that channel allocation is carried out(S400). If the multicast service is not for the real-time broadcasting, the packets are mapped with a predetermined basic CID to deliver the packets to the UE, so that channel allocation is executed(S500).
