Abstract: The present invention relates to a device, a method and a system for automatically opening or closing an exit door of a magnetic resonance imaging examination room, which can prevent and reduce various medical safety malpractice by checking the carrying of materials having magnetic force which possibly generate interactions with respect to the main magnetic fields of magnetic resonance images in advance and controlling the same at the time of accessing to the inside of the examination room in which a magnetic resonance imaging system is placed for obtaining the magnetic resonance images. More specifically, a system for automatically opening or closing an exit door of a magnetic resonance imaging examination room comprises: a current generating device having a certain length, provided along the corner at one side of the exit door and generating a current so as to provide a uniform magnetic field to the exit door; a measuring means for sensing a change in the homogeneity of the magnetic field provided to the exit door; an analysis means connected to the measuring means and sensing the homogeneity change so as to determine the opening or closing of the exit door; and a control unit connected to the analysis means and controlling an opening and closing means for opening or closing the exit door.
