Abstract: PURPOSE: A waveguide septum polarizer for satellites is provided to divide a square waveguide body into two rectangular waveguides by using a pair of separation ridges. CONSTITUTION: A waveguide body(4) is formed with the shape of a square tube. Multiple ridges(1) are formed with a triangular shape. The ridges are formed on the upper plate part inside the waveguide body. Each of the ridges is formed with a different height. A pair of separation ridges(2,3) is formed on one side of the waveguide body.
