Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for correcting discontinuity of a satellite detector boundary and a system thereof are provided to drastically shorten calculation time. CONSTITUTION: An image quality deterioration reducing unit(110) corrects picture quality deterioration by non-linear response characteristics of a CCD(Charge Coupled Device) device. A noise eliminating unit(120) eliminates diagonal noise which can occur in a satellite image. A flattering unit(130) corrects a vignetting effect of the satellite image. A PIC(Poisson Image Cloning) processing unit(210) performs interpolation by using a PIC algorithm in a satellite image coupling area.
