Abstract: A buoy for oceanographic observation is provided to detect, process, memorize, transmit and receive oceanographic data by providing an oceanographic observing device. A buoy for oceanographic observation includes a main buoy unit(100), sub buoy units(200), a mooring unit(300), and an oceanographic observer. The main buoy unit is a regular polygonal pillar in shape and is filled with air or low-density synthetic resin for floating on the sea. The sub buoy units are coupled to each plane of the main buoy unit, are cylindrical in shape, and prevent damage to the main buoy unit at most by embracing the main buoy unit. The mooring unit is coupled to a lower part of the main buoy unit and includes a supporting rod(320) and a balance weight(340). The supporting rod has a mooring ring(325) hanging mooring equipment. The balance weight is coupled to a lower part of the supporting rod and balances the main buoy unit and sub buoy units. The oceanographic observer detects, processes, and memorizes oceanographic data.
