Abstract: PURPOSE: To provide an in-situ treatment method capable of efficiently biodegrading organic pollutants of sediments, a bioremediational method capable of efficiently remedying organic pollutants of sediments even under the anaerobic conditions, a remediational method capable of maximizing biodegradation of polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbons even under the anaerobic conditions, and a sediment remediational agent. CONSTITUTION: In a bioremediational method of sediments, the method comprises the process of degrading organic pollutants in the sediments by treating an electron acceptor on the sediments, wherein the electron acceptor is one or more selected from the group consisting of NO3, SO4, CO2, Fe, Mn and a compound comprising the same, wherein the remediational method comprises the process of treating the electron acceptor to a final concentration of 10 to 50 mM on the sediments, wherein the organic pollutants are polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbons. The sediment remediational agent comprises an electron acceptor compound as an effective component, wherein the electron acceptor compound is one or more selected from the group consisting of NO3, SO4, CO2, Fe, Mn and a compound comprising the same, wherein the sediment remediational agent further comprises microorganisms.
