메탄올의 탈수 반응에 의한 디메틸에테르 합성에 사용되는 촉매에 있어서, 균일한 비정질의 실리콘 알루미늄 포스페이트 화합물로 이루어지며 Si/Al 몰비가 0.001 내지 1.2인 메탄올 탈수 촉매는, 약산과 중간산의 밀도를 적절히 증진시킴으로써 높은 촉매활성을 유지하면서도 저급 탄화수소 부산물이 생성되지 않아 높은 수율로 디메틸에테르를 얻게 한다.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A catalyst for synthesis of dimethyl ether by dehydration reaction of methanol is provided to increase a lifetime of the catalyst, and to prevent hydrocarbon by-products due to high catalyst activity. CONSTITUTION: A catalyst for synthesis of dimethyl ether by dehydration reaction of methanol includes Hydrogen- or Ammonium- hydrophobic zeolite of 1 part by weight. The catalyst for synthesis of dimethyl ether includes an aluminum phosphate binder of 0.5 ~ 10 parts by weight. The catalyst for synthesis of dimethyl ether further includes a metal positive ion precursor selected from alkali metal and alkaline earth metal of 0.1 ~ 0.1 parts by weight.

PURPOSE: A methanol dehydration catalyst and a manufacturing method of the same are provided to improve the yield of dimethyl ether by preventing the generation of byproducts such as low grade hydrocarbon. CONSTITUTION: A method dehydration catalyst is made of an amorphous compound. The amorphous compound is represented by Si_xAl_yP_zO_m. The specific surface area of the methanol dehydration catalyst is more than or equal to 50m^2/g. In the chemical formula, x/y is in a range between 0.001 and 1.2; z/y is in a range between 0.5 and 1.5; and m is 2x(x+y+z).
