    Abstract: PURPOSE: A phosphorescent material-titanium dioxide nanocomposite particle and a producing method thereof are provided to secure the optical activity of the nanocomposite particle on the non-irradiation condition of light. CONSTITUTION: A phosphorescent material-titanium dioxide nanocomposite particle contains CaAl2O4:Eu2+, a Nd3+ phosphorescent, and a titanium dioxide. The nanocomposite particle is plasticized at 400~600deg C, and exists in an anatase crystal phase. The nanocomposite particle has the photo-degradable activity from the ultraviolet ray to visible light wavelength area.
