Abstract: PURPOSE: A process for preparing a Zn2SiO4:Mn green light-emitting fluorescent substance having narrow particle size distribution, almost truly spherical form and low coagulating property and excellent in fluorescent intensity is provided which produces the fluorescent substance being widely applicable to the display industry including an electronic display such as cathode-ray tubes and field emission displays. CONSTITUTION: In the preparation of an orthosilicic acid zinc-based green light emitting fluorescent substance, a basic catalyst and water are added to 0.05 to 2 mol/L ethanol diluted solution of tetraethyl orthosilicic acid and filtered. The filtrate is dispersed in a Zinc component- and Mn component-containing solution and added with oxalic acid or oxalate to give precipitated mixtures, which are dried and heat treated under reducing atmosphere to give the fluorescent substance powder.

Abstract: 본발명은오르토규산아연계녹색발광형광체의새로운제조방법에관한것으로서, 더욱상세하게는전자선에의하여여기되어가시영역에서발광스펙트럼을나타내는 ZnSiO: Mn 녹색발광형광체를제조함에있어서, 사에틸오르토규산(TEOS)을에탄올에희석하고염기촉매및 물을첨가하여가수분해시켜서여과한후에, 이여과물을아연및 망간성분을함유한용액과함께분산시키고옥살산또는옥살산염을가하여아연및 망간성분을그의옥살산염으로침전시켜얻은혼합침전물을건조후 공기및 환원분위기중에서열처리하여형광체분말을제조하는일명 '균일침전법'을채용함으로써, 제조된형광체분말의입자크기가균일하고미세하며입자모양이이상적인구상(球狀)으로분말에응집성이적고, 활성제인망간의균일한분포로종래의제조방법에의해제조된형광체에비교하여발광강도가매우우수하므로각종디스플레이산업등에광범위하게이용될수 있는 ZnSiO: Mn 녹색발광형광체의새로운제조방법에관한것이다.
