    Abstract: 본 발명은 분산성이 우수한 구형의 니켈 미세분말의 제조방법에 관한 것으로서, 기상환원법을 이용하여 니켈 분말을 제조함에 있어서 기화 단계에서 염화니켈에 암모늄계 염소의 공급량을 제어하면서 증기상 또는 고체상으로 혼합함을 특징으로 하는 본 발명의 방법에 따라 제조된 니켈 미세분말은, 분산성이 우수하고 구형을 유지하며, 또한 직경을 원하는 범위, 예를 들면 0.03 내지 3.0㎛의 범위로 제어하기 용이하여, 다양한 전자부품 및 응용분야에서 그 기초 원료 분말로서 널리 활용될 수 있다.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing spherical nickel metal powder is provided which simplifies controlling of size and shape of the powder by reducing the mixture after uniformly mixing vapor phase ammonium chloride with vapor phase nickel chloride in manufacturing of fine nickel metal powder using gas phase process. CONSTITUTION: The method for manufacturing spherical fine nickel metal powder having superior dispersibility comprises a first step of generating a mixed gas phase of ammonium chloride and nickel chloride; a second step of reducing the gas with hydrogen in the temperature range of 900 to 1,400 deg.C; a third step of obtaining fine nickel powder by cooling the reduced gas; and a fourth step of cleaning and drying the fine nickel metal powder after recovering the obtained fine nickel metal powder, wherein the vaporization process of generating a mixed gas phase of ammonium chloride and nickel chloride in the first step is selected from a process selected from a process of vaporizing the mixture after mixing solid phase nickel chloride with solid phase ammonium chloride, a process of mixing gases generated after respectively vaporizing the solid phase nickel chloride and the solid phase ammonium chloride, a process of vaporizing a mixture prepared by mixing nickel chloride with ammonium chloride in a pellet shape, and a process of vaporizing the mixture after mixing nickel metal with pellet shaped ammonium chloride, wherein the reduction process of the second step is performed by introducing nickel chloride gas and ammonium chloride gas into the inner tube in a reactor comprising a double pipe consisted of an inner tube and an outer tube and introducing hydrogen gas into a space between the outer tube and the inner tube, and wherein the cooling process of the third step is performed by rapidly cooling the reduced gas to an ordinary temperature using a cooling gas.
